A day after finally securing their first win of the season, the Chicago Bears have made a significant move, acquiring wide receiver Chase Claypool from the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Bears, searching for a receiver to complement Justin Fields, have found it in Claypool, a player with proven talent in the NFL. Claypool brings speed, size, and a deep-threat ability to the Bears' offense, adding a much-needed weapon for Fields.
Trade Details
In exchange for Claypool, the Bears gave up their second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The pick ended up being No. 50 overall, which the Steelers used to select wide receiver Jordan Addison.
