Oscars 2017: The Winners Announced
Best Animated Feature
After his win in 2023 Guillermo del Toro was the first filmmaker to win both the Best Animated Picture for his adaptation of Pinocchio and Best Picture for The Shape of Water. Pinocchio beat out Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, The Sea Beast, and Turning Red.

- Moana
- My Life As a Zucchini
- The Red Turtle
