LIBERATION DAY is a short feature film by Martin Blankemeyer with which he completes his double-diploma studies. The fifteen-minute short film tells the story of three seniors in a retirement home. May 8, 1945 saw the end of World War II in Europe with the complete surrender of Nazi Germany. For a few people, this day had a different meaning.
